Todd & Sherry Dombrow

Todd and Sherry grew up in the Vancouver area.  They met in college where they were both studying to be nurses.  After two years of getting to know each other, they started dating, and soon were married in August of 1997.  They have three children, and are preparing for the birth of their first girl.

God was so good to lead the Dombrows to Living Water Community Church during the fall of 2003.  The proclamation of the Word of God each and every Sunday has literally changed both of their lives.  Words truly cannot express the joy that they get sitting under such teaching.  Their recent appointment as Deacons to the Missionary Board is also a great delight.  They have a passion for missions and seeing that the gospel be proclaimed to the ends of the earth.  To that end, they look forward to working with the leadership and the rest of the church Body in furthering the mission-mindedness that already exists.  As Pastor Jeff often says, “We exist to spread a passion for the supremacy of God to the Glory of God for the joy of all peoples.”  We want to be a part of that as God allows.

Todd enjoys playing “light saber” with his twin sons and holding and kissing his 11 month old.  He treasures his time in the Word and reading other books of weight.  He gets great joy in talking about what God is teaching him with his wife and his kids.  He currently is employed as a dialysis nurse and travels throughout the various Portland/Vancouver hospitals delivering treatments.

Sherry is also a registered nurse but now has dedicated herself to raising her family.  She gets much contentment in seeing her children grow up and praying that they would grow into men who truly love our Lord and Savior.  Being a “stay at home Mom” truly is a high calling as Sherry is honored to have been given such a task.

They are humbled to have been called as Deacons and look forward to serving the church Body as long as the Lord allows.
