Tom Rathgeber

At the age of 40, Tom Rathgeber was called to faith in Jesus Christ by the grace of God, along with his wife of 20 years, Karen.  They have two children, Kelsey and Ian.  Tom was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.  After serving six years in the United States Navy, he returned home and worked in his trained profession – cryogenics.  This career eventually led his family to Alaska where Tom became a believer in Jesus Christ.  Tom was then challenged to return  home to the Northwest with the desire to share his faith with his extended family.  God’s mercy quickly led him to Living Water Community Church in 2002.  Currently, Tom humbly serves as a Deacon as well as facilitating the College and Career study.  He has also been dubbed the “Official Living Water BBQ’r.”  He and his wife Karen love to fellowship with other believers and often host gatherings at their home in Amboy.
