Greg Plitt (Elder)

Greg Plitt was born in St. Louis, Mo, but moved to Clark County shortly thereafter. After graduating from Prairie High School, he attended the University of Washington where he was involved in Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship as a worship and Bible study leader. After graduating with a MA in English and Writing, with a minor in Speech Rhetoric, Greg moved back to Vancouver with his wife, Sally, and both became teachers. Both Greg and Sally received an MA in education and currently teach in the Evergreen School District, Greg at Mt. View High School, and Sally at Illahee Elementary.

Greg and Sally have been involved in high school and/or college ministry for 15 years, and currently lead the Living Water College/Career study at their home. They have one daughter, Mandy, and a dog, Levi. Greg’s favorite book of the Bible is Romans; his favorite passage is Romans 12:1-2. When not teaching or with his family, he spends hours biking, building and working with wood while listening to his favorite pastors preach the Word: Jeff Seavey, John Piper, Mark Dever, and John MacArthur.
