Ryan Beardsley (Associate Pastor)

Ryan Beardsley and his wife Kelly joined Living Water Community Church in November, 2011 when Ryan became the Associate Pastor.  Ryan was raised in Puyallup, WA and graduated from Rogers High School.  After getting an Associates degree from Pierce Community College he married Kelly, his high-school sweetheart.  They spent the first year of their marriage living and working in Tacoma, WA.  Then Ryan and Kelly moved to Minneapolis, MN so that Ryan could finish his college degree (B.A. in Biblical Studies) in order to attend seminary.  After graduating from Northwestern College Ryan enrolled at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School beginning in the fall of 2007.  For the next four years Ryan and Kelly lived in Chicago’s northwest suburbs.  Kelly became a hairdresser and Ryan worked at The Orchard Evangelical Free Church as a pastoral intern while completing his Master of Divinity degree at Trinity.
Ryan was drawn to Christ as a junior high student while participating in the youth ministry of a local church in Puyallup, WA.  He began to sense a calling into full-time ministry in his early college years, which put him on the path to receive biblical and theological training.  Ryan and Kelly love exploring the Pacific Northwest and spending time with friends and family. Two of Ryan’s favorite quotes are from Pastor John Piper and the late Jim Elliot.  John Piper has said and written numerous time that “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.” Jim Elliot, a missionary who died with four others trying to reach the Auca Indians in South America in the 1950’s famously said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”
